The family-friendly property benefits from a bright and spacious open plan layout with a lovely living and dining room which features a comfortable seating area with a TV and leather chairs and fabric sofa, an elegant dining area which can seat up to six guests and lovely personal touches by the owner to ensure this feels like a welcoming home from home. There are incredible lake views towards Bellagio to be enjoyed from here also and French doors lead out onto a sunny balcony perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning sun or a glass of wine in the evenings whilst taking in the breathtaking views over the central lake with the famous Bellagio peninsula and mountainous back drop. A separate modern newly fitted kitchen also features and provides all the desired appliances expected from a high standard of self-catering accommodation including a gas hob, oven, coffee machine and dishwasher. From the main reception room of the property the sleeping accommodation can be reached and is ideal for a family with a spacious lake view master bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, a baby cot an a TV for entertainment. The bathroom is modern and clean and features all the desired sanitary-ware for a comfortable stay including a bathtub, sink, toilet and bidet. From the property guests can enjoy the natural mountainside surroundings with a wonderful nature reserve to explore and many idyllic treks to walk. Although a bus service does operate to Menaggio a car is highly recommended for ease of movement around Lake Como during your stay. From the semi rural hamlet of Plesio the golden triangle resort town of Menaggio can be reached easily by car in just 15 minutes! Guests will enjoy this bustling picturesque lakeside resort town which boasts a wide variety of amenities including supermarkets, banks, delicatessens, a bakery, charming cafes, bars and lakefront restaurants. A picturesque promenade leads to a Mini golf and a popular Lido with park, swimming pools and beach can also be enjoyed and is the perfect family day out aside from the sight-seeing. A regular car and passenger ferry service also conveniently operates from the town taking visitors to the other famous golden triangle towns of romantic Varenna with its medieval charms and beautiful Bellagio with its many boutique gift shops, breathtaking viewpoints and the famous Villa Melzi with its lakefront gardens which are open to the public and are idyllic for a picnic. From Menaggio the many other lakeside attractions can also be reached including Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello, the resort town of Tremezzo and also the scenic lakeside road which takes visitors through many pretty villages including Argegno, Laglio and Cernobbbio to Como city; the lake’s cosmopolitan capital. | |||||||||||||||||||||
